KEY FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS

BIOTIN
One of the most recognized nutrients for hoof health and keratin support. Biotin plays a major role in the formation and maintenance of healthy keratinized tissues, helping support stronger hoof growth, hoof wall integrity, and overall tissue quality.

DL-METHIONINE
Methionine is a sulfur-containing amino acid and one of the most important nutritional building blocks involved in keratin production. Keratin is the primary structural protein found in hair, skin, and hooves. Without adequate sulfur amino acid availability, tissue quality often suffers.

CHELATED ZINC
Zinc plays a critical role in skin function, keratin formation, tissue repair, and coat quality. PETRA utilizes bioavailable chelated zinc designed to support optimal absorption and utilization.

CHELATED COPPER
Copper supports connective tissue integrity, pigmentation, collagen formation, and healthy skin and coat appearance. Zinc and copper work synergistically together and must remain properly balanced for optimal tissue support.

KELP-DERIVED IODINE
Iodine helps nutritionally support healthy thyroid function, which plays a major role in metabolic regulation, coat turnover, skin condition, and hair quality. Kelp also naturally contributes additional trace mineral support.
